Oriental Beauty is a heavily oxidized oolong with natural honey and fruit notes — created when tiny leafhoppers nibble the leaves, prompting the plant to develop its signature sweetness. A truly special, complex tea.

Taste & aroma
Ripe stone fruit, muscat grape and honey on the nose, with notes of dried apricot, cinnamon and a delicate floral finish. Naturally sweet, smooth and rounded — no bitterness.

Origin
A celebrated Taiwanese oolong (also known as Bai Hao / Dong Fang Mei Ren), distinctive for its bug-bitten leaves and honeyed character.

How to brew (gongfu style)
5g per 100ml at 85–90°C (185–194°F). Quick rinse, then steep 20–30 seconds for the first infusion, adding a few seconds each round. Rewards 5+ steeps.

Western brewing: 3g per 250ml, 85–90°C, 2–3 minutes. Re-steep 2–3 times.
